One table

Where every corner
of India meets.

In India, food is how people come together: a Sunday picnic in the park, snacks after a street cricket match, a thali shared at home. That is the feeling Indian Treats is built on.

North or South, Indian or Dutch, vegan or paneer lover: here everyone shares the same table. Our room is made for long conversations, shared plates and that “let's try one more dish” feeling.

“Rotterdam is a thriving, open-minded city that loves exploring rich food cultures and vibrant, healthy living. We are excited to share authentic plant-based Indian cuisine with the neighborhood, celebrating thousands of years of culinary tradition where fresh ingredients, fragrant spices, and comforting flavors combine to create extraordinary dishes for everyone to enjoy.”Indian Treats

Every corner of India,
one kitchen.

Dosas from the South, dal and paneer from the North, Indo-Chinese from the East and street snacks from all over. Flavours that rarely share a menu share one table here.

North

Paneer curries, dal, chana bhatura and the full thali. Slow cooked gravies with rice and fresh bread, the dishes that feel like home.

West & everywhere

Street snacks and the weekend specials: samosas, chaat and a rotating list of regional dishes you rarely find outside India.

East

Indo-Chinese, the way India loves it: Hakka noodles, Manchurian and chilli paneer, sweet, spicy and tangy at once.

South

Dosa, idli, vada and uttappam, made live on the tawa where you can watch. Fermented batter, fresh chutneys, sambar the way it should taste.

The walls

Why our walls
talk back.

We wanted guests to feel the buzz of an Indian street the moment they walk in. So the chai seller, the chaat man, a street cricket match and a Sunday in Cubbon Park moved onto our walls. Two of them are full walls, and each tells a story worth knowing.

Gully cricket

In India, cricket is a passion that starts in the lane outside the house. Two bricks or a pair of slippers become the wicket, a plank or a borrowed bat does the rest, and the rules are local: hit the ball onto a neighbour's balcony and you are out. It is how millions of Indian kids fall in love with the game, with whatever they have at hand.

Cubbon Park, Bengaluru

Laid out in 1870 in the heart of Bengaluru and named after Sir Mark Cubbon, this park of around 300 acres is known as the green lung of the city. Its red colonial buildings, like the State Central Library, rise above the lawns. On Sundays, when traffic is kept out, families spread out on the grass for picnics, snacks and long afternoons together.
